HCVS Students and Families,
We have less than seven weeks of the school year remaining! State testing begins the week of April 13th. Please see the schedule below for the testing schedule.
Upcoming Events
1.) Social THURSDAY!
Our next in-person event will be Thursday, April 9, from 9:00 am – 12:00 pm. We will be having our Testing Kickoff! Students can come play games and participate in other activities. State testing will begin on Monday, 4/13. Please see the schedule below for your student’s testing times.
2.) Junior/Senior Prom
Our Junior/Senior Prom will be Friday, April 10th. Please see the emails from Mrs. Bridges for more details.
3.) Senior Practice/Graduation
Our Senior Graduation Practice is May 12th. Our Graduation will be on May 15th at 7:30 pm.
4.) Underclass Promotions
We will have our Promotion Ceremony for Kindergarten, 5th, and 8th Grades on May 19th. Participating students will need to be at Hillcrest at 8:30 am. These will begin at 9:00 am.

2025-2026 TCAP/EOC Schedule
Students arrive at 8:30 am. Testing begins at 9:00 am.
The in-person state testing window will be April 13 – May 1. These tests are required and have to be given in-person at Hillcrest Elementary (4302 Bonny Oaks Drive). All students will report to Hillcrest Elementary on their testing days at 8:30 am. We will provide snacks at breakfast and pizza for lunch. Testing will begin each day at 9:00 am.
All students in grades 3-8 will test in ELA, Math, Science and Social Studies. High school students enrolled in Algebra I, Algebra II, Geometry, English I, English II, Biology and US History will also test. K-2 do not have any tests. High school students not enrolled in the seven courses above also do not test. All students in tested courses in grades 6-12 will need to bring their HCS issued chromebooks. Please charge the device the night before.
Students who receive extended time will be sent their testing schedule.
