🌟 Student Spotlight: Meet Adé! 🌟

At Hamilton County Virtual School, students have the flexibility to learn in ways that work best for them while still challenging themselves academically. For Adé, virtual school has allowed him more time with his family!

💬 “I meet with my teachers, virtually, like once or twice a week, but when I need any additional help I can just email whichever teacher I need to talk to and they will email me back or set an extra meeting time so I can understand what I need.”

📚 Favorite Class: Adé’s favorite class is Math because he likes the way his teacher helps him understand the steps in working out the problems. He meets with his teachers once or twice a week when he needs any additional help and knows that he can just email any of his teachers when he needs to set up an extra meeting.

🏡 A Day in the Life: Adé starts his school day around 9:30 AM and typically finishes around 2:00 PM. He usually has lunch with his family and has time to jump on their trampoline in the middle of the day for a break!

🎉 Staying Connected: Even in a virtual setting, Adé enjoys being part of the school community and has attended weekly HCVS Academic Labs in all subjects and Field Trips, giving him opportunities to connect with other students.

👨‍👩‍👧 From Adé’s Family: “I was surprised at how much more time we had to do things as a family. I truly was not expecting that. I really appreciate knowing what my child is learning and having the ability to be hands-on in the learning process. I will most definitely choose to continue this option next year.”

✨ Flexible learning. Challenging academics. Supportive teachers. That’s what makes Hamilton County Virtual School such a great place for students to learn and grow.
