Student Spotlight 1
🌟 Student Spotlight: Meet Cady! 🌟
At Hamilton County Virtual School, students have the flexibility to learn in ways that work best for them while still challenging themselves academically.
For Cady, virtual school has been exactly what she hoped it would be!
💬 “Virtual school has been good for me because it allows me to take classes above what the in-person high schools would let me do. The orientation explained how virtual learning would work, and it’s been very accurate to my experience.”
📚 Favorite Class:
Cady’s favorite class is Honors English because she loves reading and writing. She meets weekly with her teacher and classmates to review the week’s assignments and stay connected.
🏡 A Day in the Life:
Cady starts her school day around 8:00 AM. As a fast worker, she enjoys the flexibility to learn from different spots in her home—her desk, the kitchen table, or even the couch! Her daily tools include her Chromebook, algebra notebook, and plenty of pencils and pens.
🎉 Staying Connected:
Even in a virtual setting, Cady enjoys being part of the school community and has attended nearly every HCVS social event, giving her opportunities to connect with other students.
👨‍👩‍👧 From Cady’s Family:
“One thing that surprised us was the level of support and availability from the teachers and staff. We also appreciate that Cady can still take challenging courses like AP and Honors classes while attending virtually. We are excited to continue at HCVS next year!”
✨ Flexible learning. Challenging academics. Supportive teachers.
That’s what makes Hamilton County Virtual School such a great place for students to learn and grow.
