At Hamilton County Virtual School, students have the flexibility to learn in ways that work best for them while still challenging themselves academically.
For Cady, virtual school has been exactly what she hoped it would be!
Cady’s favorite class is Honors English because she loves reading and writing. She meets weekly with her teacher and classmates to review the week’s assignments and stay connected.
Cady starts her school day around 8:00 AM. As a fast worker, she enjoys the flexibility to learn from different spots in her home—her desk, the kitchen table, or even the couch! Her daily tools include her Chromebook, algebra notebook, and plenty of pencils and pens.
Even in a virtual setting, Cady enjoys being part of the school community and has attended nearly every HCVS social event, giving her opportunities to connect with other students.
“One thing that surprised us was the level of support and availability from the teachers and staff. We also appreciate that Cady can still take challenging courses like AP and Honors classes while attending virtually. We are excited to continue at HCVS next year!”
That’s what makes Hamilton County Virtual School such a great place for students to learn and grow.
