HCVS Students and Families,
Our Literacy Night is on Thursday, February 12th! Students may present an original work or share another work. We will begin at 6:00 pm. Dinner from Chick-Fil-A will also be provided. The flyer is below!
We do have several events upcoming!
1.) 2/11-High School ASVAB testing.
You can sign up here: https://forms.gle/RtbrcnqogZqjw3Ce9
If you are one of the first 30 students to sign up (and come take the ASVAB), you will get a pair of JBL Tune 720BT wireless headphones.
The ASVAB is a great career exploration tool. If you are not sure what major/career you are interested in, the ASVAB scores can be used to explore what your aptitude and interests are.
Also, taking the ASVAB can help you become a READY GRADUATE!
If you are interested in going into the military after high school, you should take the ASVAB. However, none of these scores will be sent to the military. You have to request them to be sent.
2.) Thursday, 2/12–HCVS Literacy Night. Starting at 6:00 pm, students from all grade bands will read from their books or original writings. We will also provide a Chick-Fil-A dinner for all families in participation. Please sign up ASAP! We need to submit our dinner order form.
Documentation concerning student absences can be sent to Mrs. Montgomery. Her email is Montgomery_Steph@hcde.org.
